Description

Dirty laundries were scattered all over the place, cookie crumbs and sauce covered bits of the wooden floor and stained a few portions of the grey wool couch. Kenji walked around, applaud at what he was witnessing. He gagged, scrunching his face up in disgust and began to think to himself. "Babies with rabies! What is this?! Aimi couldn't have been the one that made all this mess, I know my daughter, she would never allow a single piece of dust to be lying about! And if it's not her, I'll just have to assume that it must've been her roommate... and there are no other creatures on this Earth that'll produce this much mess other than... Men..." His eyes squinted, looking over to the side dramatically, continuing to think. "In conclusion... my prediction was accurate... My daughter IS INDEED rooming with a man! I knew it!" He punched his fist into the palm of his other hand, standing tall. His face was written with disapproval.

Kenji took a deep breath, inhaling and exhaling at a steady paste. "Now now Ken, don't jump to conclusions so soon... think positive! This may not even be the right house!" He stood up straight, holding his fist in front and a hand on hip.

5 Minutes Later

Kenji had made his way upstairs, before him stood a tidy fancy bedroom. There were cutesy objects located all over the place and the colour pink covered almost the entire room, Aimi's plushie sat comfortably on the bed. "... I spoke too soon, only Aimi would have a bedroom like this even at her current age... and I know that plushie from a mile away... This IS the right house..." Kenji facepalmed, slowly sliding his hand down his face. He noticed something at the corner of his eye, something on the bedside table. Curious, he made his way over there to check it out. It was a photo, a group photo consisting of four people. Kenji picked it up to get a closer view, just then his expression went from serious to slight sorrow. The photo... it was him and his family, they seemed to be out on a family picnic by a river. He and his wife stood behind the children whom were just being their bratty little selves, didn't even notice a photo was being taken. Nonetheless, they all appeared to be having a wonderful time. Kenji's gaze never left the photo, he froze, not even blinking for a moment. "I remember this like it was Yesterday..." A tear streamed down his cheek, he stared into the photo, mainly focusing on one person, his son. He sat down onto the bed, still looking into those mischievous green eyes. He ran his fingers across his son's cheek in the photo. "You were always such a troublemaker... where've you run off to now?..." Kenji sat there, still like a statue. A quiet shuffling noise came from the side, Shocked, he turned his head over. The plushie had tumbled over onto it's side.

Kenji sat in silence for a good 3 seconds before standing back up, shaking his head back and forth rapidly. "Don't get side-tracked, Kenji! And quit dwelling on the past! You know what you're here for!" He asserted himself, quickly placing the photo back down to where he found it before walking back over the the door, "Now that I can confirm 100% this is indeed the correct house, I just need to find out more about this atrocious roommate! The slobbiness may not even be the worst yet!" He marched out of the room, turning back to face the photo one last time, sighing out his last moment of nostalgia with it, "One day, Daniel... one day..." He closed the door behind him. "Alright! Onward!"

*Le Meanwhile*

Johan and Dan sat quietly at their tables. Johan continued to skim through the menu list, mouth drooling from all those gorgeous pictures of food. It sure was difficult to choose what he would like to eat but eventually he confirmed his choice, he placed the menu back down on the table. "Alright mah man! I think I'm all ready'da order! What about you, dude?" Johan leaned his cheek on the palm of his hand, smiling at Dan with a friendly smile. Dan's arms remained folded, he hasn't even picked up the menu yet. He leaned back on his chair, making it stand on it's two back legs, he had one leg up on the table but thankfully his shoe was hanging off the edge. He sighed unpleasantly, "I don't really feel like eating anything... not here at least..." Johan did a silly pouty face, poking his lips out and fluttering his eyes, his lashes appearing far longer than usual when he pulled off this affect, his eyes sparkling and bubbly as he blinked, "Awww~ C'mon Danny~ At least get a simple drink or something?~" He spoke in a disgustingly failed-attempt-to-be-cute way. Dan facepalmed, almost scratching into his skin, "Ugh!... Never... do... that... again..." He dropped his arm back down as it flopped onto the table, his expression grumpy as usual, "And no, I don't want anything, thank you very much. Would you like a re-repeat?" He asked with clear sarcasm. Johan rolled his eyes, chuckling right afterwards, "Okay fine, dude. It's your Tumtum, I have no right to tell you what to do with it, mah man. Just suggesting, man. Just suggesting."

Dan dropped his leg off the table, moving forward so he's sitting properly again with the chair on all fours. "So dimwit, when's that friend of your's gonna arrive?" Dan asked, playing around with the little silver teaspoon on the table. Johan perked up with a wide smile, "Weeell~" He leaned back on his chair, clearing his throat by coughing into his fist. He held up his index finger and pointing it straight upwards, "According to my analysis; Her co-ordinates are approximately one quarter a mile away from ours. The average walking speed of a human is at approximately 3 miles per hour therefore it would take her at least 5 minutes to arrive. As I am providing you with this information, time had reduced about three quarters a minute. There's also a high chance that she had dropped an object or found an object to pick up right about now, after obtaining or retrieving the item, chances are she can now see the cafe, logically speaking she would be excited with this sight and is now sprinting towards this destination which would reduce the previously estimated time by a half or so. Subtracting both that from my calculations and also the amount of time I took explaining the rest of this theory, the time my friend will arrive is... ... ... Now." Just then the doors to the cafe was slammed open with once again a loud thud.

"PHEW! Made it just in time! Oh yeah, feelin' goooood!" Sue looked to the side, seeing Johan and Dan. Johan stood up and pointed at her with both hands, fingers positioned in a gun like format, "AYYYE! Dudette! What's shakin'?!" Sue did the same back at Johan, "Duuuuuuuude! You won't believe me when I say this but when I was on my way here, I found 50 bucks on the ground! Must be my lucky day, you know what I'm sayin'?" Johan laughed, "Dayum Dudette! You is striken!" He then stretched his neck over to Dan who had just been sitting through that whole thing with nothing but a 'Wtf...' face the entire time, "I told ya, dude," Johan whispered to Dan in a smug attitude. Dan speaks not a single word but his expression clearly stated and I quote, "Bish! Dafuq that is, Ese?! C'mon man, gimme a break!" Meanwhile from a distance, a high-pitched feminine shriek escaped through Giddy's lungs after he realised that one of his favourite flower pots containing his favourite flowers had shattered onto the floor in dozens of broken pieces due to Sue's grand entrance earlier. "OH! WOE IS ME!~ My precious blossoms of glory and beauty! Such a tragedy! 'Tis true! My grief, my mourning, none could bring you back to me! OH! WOE IS ME!!~" Giddy twirled around dramatically, eventually collapsing onto a soft couch with the back of his hand pressed against his forehead, leaning back and starting to sob. Dan watched from a distance, looking to the side while grinning to himself, "Well, I guess this isn't all bad..."

Johan pulled out the chair next to him for Sue to take a seat, "Anyways, c'mon Dudette! plot down, relax!" He said in a friendly manner. Sue blushed, looking to the side as she smiled, her arms folded tightly. She looked back at Johan, her eyes bubbled and within her perspective; everything around Johan just appeared to be nothing but a fuzzy soft pink blur with sparkles and bubbles shimmering and floating around him gently. He smiled, all her attention drawn to him as sparkles flew off him. Johan's sparkly charming smile eventually shifted into an awkward forced smile. Johan placed a hand behind his head, scratching, a sweat droopie slowly slid down from his forehead as he let out a slow awkward laugh, "Ehe~ Well? Arentcha gonna sit down or somethin'?" Sue stopped her fantasising as reality stroke back to her once again. Flinching, she quickly dropped down onto the chair Johan pulled out for her earlier, clearing her throat, "Soz Jo-Yo! Long day, don't worry about it!" She spoke at a quick paste, making sure she was convincing. Johan laughed in a silly manner, "Ah, Dudette! You're crazy weird, and boy do I love it!" He said before sitting down beside her. Sue scratched the back of her head as thousands upon thousands of sweat droopies dashed down from her forehead, "Y-Yesery!" She spoke, swinging her arm across her in a jolly manner and chuckling with Johan. Dan watched the two of them, raising an eyebrow as if saying 'seriously? -_-'.

"So... I'm guessing this is your friend?" Dan asked, his voice lacking emotion. Johan nodded, "Yeah bro! We were besties since preschool! Maybe even beyond that!" He wrapped an arm around Sue, "we're practically twinzies at this point! Am I right, Dudette?" He asked, giving Sue a friendly wink. Sue nodded happily, "Oh Ya! No doubt about it, Jo!" then turning her head downwards to the other side, blushing to herself. "Well then! Allow me to do the introductions!" Johan coughed to clear his throat, "Sue, this is my buddy-chum-pal, Daniel... or Dan for short~" He said, teasingly. Dan growled at him again, "It's just Dan..." Johan snickered under his breath, "We met on Glory... and don't worry, he's always like this. Aren't you, Grumpa-Smurf?~" Unamused and annoyed, Dan stared back at Johan in distaste, bending the teaspoon he was playing with earlier all the way down, dropping it as it fell back down on the table, he said nothing. Sue and Johan both watched in silence and slight fear with nothing but a poker face as their eyes slowly shifted towards one another. "O-Oh! S-So I heard you met Joey on Glory, eh? Boy, do I love that game! I play it on my YCube all the time! It's one of my favourites actually, maybe one day you and I could have a good dose of it together?" Sue said to Dan, attempting to start a conversation with him so he could get to know her and so that things wouldn't be so awkward. However, Dan continued to play with the bent teaspoon, paying no eye contact to anybody "Mhm... Sure..." Johan facepalmed, muttering under his breath, "Ah, Dear Delilah! Bro, you are hopeless..."

*Le Meanwhile Again*

"Pizza box, squished soda cans, chip packets, candy wrappers and... this shaving razor... huh, what a strange thing to spot in a living room, looks like it's just been used too." Kenji looked at every item he had in front of him, every single one was garbage, besides the razor off course. "The razor clearly gives it away, this roommate is 100% man." He folded his arms and shut his eyes, his eyebrow twitched as he gradually began to look more and more enraged by the second. "DUGH!" Kenji yelled out in frustration, he stood up from the couch and kicked at the coffee table leg. Immediately fazed, he pulled up his leg and held his foot in an attempt to ease the pain, hopping backwards. "OW! OW! OW! THAT HURT! THAT HURT!" He proceeded to hop backwards, hissing and yelping in pain. Eventually he bumped his back against a door which busted open as he crashed through, Kenji began to tumble down the staircase and soon faceplanting onto the concrete floor of the basement. With a muffled voice, Kenji spoke casually, "Okay, that really hurt..." He managed to pick himself up and patted down his shirt to dust himself off, coughing. He looked around, it was quite dark but he could still see pretty fine. "Oh, this must be the basement... Well, this place isn't relevant so I'll be heading back up now." Kenji folded his arms and was about to head back up the stairs... that is until something at the corner of his eye caught his attention.

As Kenji shifted his head towards what caught his attention, he noticed that it was a slight opening in the wall dividers at the far corner of the basement, something seems to be shining behind the it. Curious, Kenji turned himself back around and began stepping forward, his steps silent, careful and steady, almost like a prowling tiger "Now what do we have here..." He pushed the dividers out wide enough for him to fit through, what he witnessed before him was something beyond even his irrational predictions. Two small lanterns with artificial candles in them illuminated the surroundings with a luxurious mood. A wooden antique table, with fancy design along the edges stood directly at the centre, pressed against the wall. At both sides of the table were two beautiful clear rounded flower vases with gorgeous florescent red roses blooming with pride. There were a few random objects spread evenly across the table; a platted woollen bracelet with the two colours Black and White, a silver necklace with a flat half-a-heart pendent with the word 'Friends' carved into it, the 'i' having a heart for the top instead of the traditional dot, an old but still healthy four-leaf clover and finally, a regular plain white handkerchief. But what stood out the most was a photo placed exactly at the centre of the table, also pressed against the wall, it was a portrait of a young boy with a goofy smile, perhaps attempting to pull off a funny face, his hair was a strong jet black, covering one of his vibrant silver eyes.

Kenji began to sweat, eyes fixated at the shrine table but mainly the photograph. His hands began to shake as he took in big tense breaths, it all makes sense now. "T-This table... i-it's obviously not that roommates belonging, it's far too cleanly maintained for a slob like him... and Aimi always keep her things neat and tidy... Wait... this is why she moved in here, isn't it!? I would of expected her to take far longer to settle into a house! She couldn't have gotten settled in so quickly! Unless... they've planned this beforehand... I know now! THIS IS THE MAN SHE'S BEEN SEEING! I KNEW THOSE FILTHY MEN COULDN'T BE TRUSTED! Look at this! She's obviously grown obsessed with him! This black haired, silver eyed, goofed up face looking... SLOB! THAT'S THE BLOODY ROOMMATE IN THAT PHOTO! I JUST KNOW IT! I KNEW IT ALL ALONG! AT ONE POINT I THOUGHT I WAS BEING IRRATIONAL, I THOUGHT I WAS OVER-THINKING! BUT NOW I SEE THAT I WAS RIGHT THIS WHOLE TIME!" He began thinking intensely, the more he thought the more angry he became. He growled, clutching both his fists up and glaring at the man in the photo, looking as if he was about to attack him. Kenji spoke in a low, menacing voice, "Mark my words, you little rascal... If you even TRY to pursue my little girl or even just TOUCH ONE piece of hair on her body... I will look for you... I will find you...AnD i WiLL K-" Just then a doorbell sound came from the front door above. "Ah Bugga off, mate! I'm an overprotective dad tryna' sound intimidating here!"

After Kenji made his way up the basements stairs and opening the front door, a delivery man stood at there holding a rather big cardboard box. "Ye'llo there ol' chap! I've got a delivery for a... Miss Aimi Kirameki?" The man said in a chipper voice, Kenji curiously wondered his eyes down at the box, squinting his eyes as if suspicious of something, "This seems a bit off..." "Errrm... Sir? You a'right?" The delivery man asked, tilting his head in confusion. Kenji quickly popped out of his thoughts, clearing his throat before speaking, "Oh, yes! *cough cough* sorry about that. Anyways, thank you good man, that lady is my daughter so I'll take that for her if you don't mind" Kenji said, taking the box from the delivery man. "Awesome! I'll just need a signature right here and I'll be on my way!" The man opened up his little notebook and pointed to a page with an empty slot for a signature to be filled out. He then handed Kenji a pen. Kenji took the pen, signing his signature into the slot and handing the man his pen back, the man nodded gleefully, "Fantastic, ol' chap! Enjoy the uniform!" After hearing that, Kenji turned back to the delivery man, giving him the 'what-did-you-just-say' face, "What did you just say?..." He spoke in a slight whisper. "Oh, well, not you off course, I meant your daughter obviously! She is the one that's gonna be working at that cafe after all, man that place's got some sweet stuff! I go there every week! I just love the puddings in that place, also the donuts, the cupcakes, the chocolate, the sundaes, the..." The man continued to blather on and on about various pastries. Kenji paid no mind to whatever the man was blabbering about, he was only focused on the box. He began to tear the box open to finally see what was inside; a black uniform with pink lining and a large pink ribbon at the neck opening with a slice-of-cake symbol sewn onto the left side of the chest area, same colour as the lining.

He stared intensely at the symbol, reading the words along the symbol, pronouncing each syllable one by one. "Piece... of... Fab... cake..." Kenji was confused, shocked, completely puzzled. "Why is Aimi working at a cafe!? Last time I checked she worked as a secretary in an office!... Did she quit?! No! She couldn't have! There's no reason for her to!... Unless..."

Within Kenji's Imaginations

Two crudely crayon drawn figures of Aimi and that silver eyed boy in the photograph stood by a effortlessly crayon drawn cafe, seeming to be illustrated by a child.

"Oh wow, Aimi. This cafe has le best food, me likey a lot. I come here everyday because I likey this food so so much yes. Mmm such yum" The boy said with badly stop-motion animated lip syncing with the text-to-speech voice.

"OooOOooo~ really? Oh, bb me wants spend more time with le handsome hotness you. Okay, I quit me job and I now work here because you come here always and me want to forever see you and be with you, my sweet" Aimi said, also badly animated.

"Le gasp, Oh Aimi you so sweet. Me loves you so much!~ We be together forever~" Says the boy

"Le bloosh, Oh bb me love you long time!~ Kiss me, my love!~ Like I is your BBQ sandwich~" Aimi replied

Both of their crudely drawn figures began to squish together to make them look like they were kissing. "Mwah mwah mwah" monotoned text-to-speech voices coming out from the two figures when they intertwined.

Reality

Kenji faced downwards, his forehead completely shadowed, giving off the intimidating and menacing vibe. He stood back up from kneeling and turned his head around exactly 180 degrees to face the delivery man who was still going on about the pastries, "... muffins and the cheesecakes, the eclairs and the-" Kenji immediately grabbed the man by his shirt collar and pulled him in, he asked in a low tone of voice, "Where is the Piece of Fabcake Cafe?..." The man gulped, "J-Jeez! I-I didn't know you were THIS interested! I-It's not far, j-just go straight a-and then turn left at the fountain o-once you reach the city's centre a-and then k-keep going straight and there it is! Y-you couldn't miss i-it!" The man attempted to respond, stuttering and quivering in fear from Kenji. Kenji dropped him down and began stomping out the house, loud groundbreaking thuds erupted below his feet with each step he took, his face still remaining the same, intimidating vibe as before. "He's over there... I can feel it... Ohohohoho, you are sooo dead, Mr..." The delivery man sat up, rubbing his head and adjusting himself back to normal, he watched Kenji stomp further and further away until he could not see him anymore. "... Am I... missing something here?"

*Le Meanwhile Again Again*

Dan stood up, sighing in dissatisfaction, "I'm gonna go have a smoke at the back since SOMEONE wouldn't let me do it in here..." he said distastefully, putting emphasis on 'SOMEONE' as he glared over at Giddy without him noticing but then quickly reverting back to his previous state, "I'll be back... maybe..." He walked off to the back exit of the cafe, leaving without even waiting for a response from the other two. Both of them awkwardly watched as Dan went off, the door closing behind him. "... Don't mind the dude, dudette. That's just mah man Dan for ya, you'll get use to him!" Johan said with enthusiasm as he winked at Sue. Sue chuckled, eyes bubbling as she looked into Johan's eyes once again, "Joey..." Sue looked downwards, blushing. Her heart began to race, the thuds getting louder with every beat, "This is your chance, Sue! The perfect moment! You gotta tell him, this is a very rare opportunity! You're alone with the man you've been crushing on for years, no ones here to eavesdrop or interrupt and this is a fancy restaurant!... Well, cafe BUT still! It's the perfect setting! C'mon! Do it, dammit, who knows when next time would be if you pass this time!" She started to sweat a lot, taking in tense deep breaths.

"Hey yo, dudette... Whatchu thinkin' over there?" Johan asked, confused on the way Sue was behaving. Sue gulped before sitting up straight and taking in one very deep breath to relax herself, "J-Johan!" she said as she turned her head to look at her friend. Her eyes wide and her face bright red, "What up, dudette?" Johan responded casually. "T-There's something I want to tell you..." She gulped, her heart pounding so fast and rapid she could feel it in her finger tips. Johan nodded, replying in a jolly manner, "Shoot! Spill it out!" Sue shut her eyes and clutched her fists tightly, squeezing tightly then relaxing back to normal. "Johan... We've been besties for five-ever, ye man? Ehehe~ S-so I really shouldn't be keeping anything from you, yeah?... but there's this one thing I really REALLY need to say and I've been holding this in for SO LONG... I-I'm sorry for hiding this from you... so I-I'll say it to you now" Sue took in a huge breath, "Johan... I just want to say... *gulp*... I-I... I LIKE-" "G'day mates! Ready'da order perhaps?" Sue was cut off, a waiter stood at the table holding a notebook and pen. Johan grinned as stars formed in his eyes, he exclaimed loudly, "OH YEAH! That's what I'm talkin' about, dude! WAHOO!" But eventually calming himself down and facing back at Sue, "Sorry about that dudette, I got a bit excited. What were you sayin' again?" He asked, scratching the back of his head in silly shame. Sue smiled awkwardly, "Ehehehe~ O-Oh it's nothing! I just wanted to say that daaaaaamn, I'm busting like crazy right now, man! So I'D LIKE to use the toilet, yeah! That's what I was gonna say! *cough cough* Anyone know where the bathrooms are?" A sweat droopy slid down her cheek. "Looking for the bathroom, eh? Well, they're right next to the back exit on the opposite wall, you wouldn't miss it!" The waiter responded kindly. Sue nodded as a sign of thanks, looking back at Johan, "I'll be back in a bit, I just gotta... Let a few things out..." She said awkwardly before dashing away.

Johan reached his arm back to scratch the back of his head, "... That's it? She just wanted to pass a stool this whole time? And here I thought somethin' serious was goin' on, dude" He chuckled in relief, "Dang... I guess when you gotta go, you gotta go, man..." Johan said slowly. "So I heard you're ready'da order, my good sir?~" The waiter hinted, going back on the main subject. Johan clapped and squealed excitedly like a child receiving a birthday gift, the stars reappearing in his eyes.

Welp, someone's gonna die by a pissed off dad. (Also, he was like: "Aw hell no!?") Also, he needs to see a doctor.
